About

I’m a product designer, software engineer, and motion graphic designer with 14 years of experience rooted in early stage startups. I’ve had the privilege of working for notable companies such as Splice, Universe, and Kickstarter, where I was hired as the first product designer and front-end engineer in 2010.

In 2013, just three years into my career, I co-founded Jukely — a startup with the mission of helping people see more live music. This experience was incredibly humbling, teaching me that building a successful business involves more than just a great product. As a result, I became more invested in product strategy, distribution, and growth, and how these things come together to influence the way product companies are built.

I graduated from Expression College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Motion Graphic Design. I created motion graphics to support the visual identity for Build in 2011 and XOXO in 2012. Animation continues to be a key part of my practice and is often expressed in the product experiences I design.

I'm drawn to the intersection of software and the creative arts and have continued to dedicate my career to building tools and communities that empower creators. I believe the best software emerges from a genuine collaboration between design and engineering, which leads me to seek out roles that allow me to work across these disciplines. Currently, I am bringing this vision to life at Stationhead.

Outside of my work, I’m a husband and proud stepdad. You can usually find me nurturing an extensive collection of nearly 100 plants, in the kitchen perfecting dinner recipes, or spending time with my family which includes our two french bulldogs, Zoë and Ivy.
